ICUs and Nursing WEB Journal is a quarterly peer reviewed e-publication, encompasses: the practice, research and policy roles of RNs worldwide. ICU NURS WEB J dedicated not only  to the dissemination of knowledge generated in the critical care and emergency nursing practice setting but also in the general field of nursing science. Also in this publication, nursing theory and philosophy is important for us, as we hope to disseminate more of the nursing theory and philosophy of Greek Nursing, that is not currently being shared with the world. 

Papers that have a sound of scientific, theoretical, ethical, philosophical base, and which reflect the source, survival, quality, and internationalism of nursing science will be consider for publication. For ICUs and Nursing, nursing science is a a rapidly changing science, so efforts are being made to provide update information that is professionally correct through the review of the recent bibliography and the use of approved quantitative and qualitative research methods. Nurses need to be educated through a complex web of cultural, social, economical, ethical, political and scientific diversity, discovering order in a chaotic new world, searching many places for new answers in a time of paradigm shifts. 

As Jean Watson writes in the preface of her book "Postmodern Nursing and Beyond" (1999), all health professions are being, and will have to be, redefined for the ontological shift to take place. The new ontologically based practices will not be the exclusive domain of any health profession, but will affect all. All will have to transform, as they are being symbiotically transformed.

It is well known that our world is complex, not complicated.  If we use mathematics terms to define this, such a definition  would require many lines of equations. We believe that we can't see Nursing Science through the old paradigm. If someone today owes to establish a new face, a new character and to adopt the "New Science" that is the Nursing Science, because its subject adopts the Man not as a body but as an undivided unit of the body, the spirit and the psyche. The title of this Journal remains  the same, but aims and scope of this e- publication evolving a complex web of cultural, social, economical, ethical, political and scientific diversities, discovering order out of chaos.
